Choosing a Medicare plan isn’t just about finding an affordable monthly premium. Prescription costs, deductibles, provider networks, and out-of-pocket expenses can make a significant difference in what people actually pay for healthcare.
With Medicare Open Enrollment underway through December 7, Seattle-based Medicare Shopper is helping people make sense of those costs and compare their options.
A Simpler Way to Compare Medicare Plans
Rather than presenting shoppers with a long list of plans, Medicare Shopper guides them through questions about their healthcare needs, prescriptions, and preferences. The application uses this information to recommend plans, estimate out-of-pocket costs, and help people understand their options before connecting with a licensed insurance agent.
A Seattle Collaboration
We’re proud to have partnered with this local company to help bring the experience to life.
Flower Press Interactive worked alongside Medicare Shopper’s in-house development team on branding, user research, interactive prototypes, and React interface development. Through interviews with prospective users, we refined the experience to make it more approachable and easier to navigate.
A Satisfying Outcome
The work was recognized with a 2026 Web Excellence Award in Health Care Services, and Medicare Shopper also received recognition as a 2026 Web Design Awards Healthcare and AI nominee.
It’s rewarding to see a fellow Seattle-area business applying new technology to a real-world problem, especially one that affects so many people.
“Flower Press Interactive’s work has been excellent, and the design process was really fun. We uncovered insights that improved our product and we’re feeling positive about helping people find the right plans.”
With Medicare Open Enrollment happening now, it’s a great time to explore what they’ve built.
